King's College London students' residence

A limited number of single en suite bedrooms have been reserved for the participants of IWOCA 2010 for the period 25-30 July 2010 in the King's College London students' residence:

underground station: Borough.

The Strand Campus of King's College London (the location of IWOCA 2010) can be accessed from Great Dover Street Apartments by underground trains or buses. The rate for a single room is 33 GBP per night. If you would like to book a room in Great Dover Street Apartments, email first the dates of your stay (which have to be within the period 25-30 July 2010) to the IWOCA 2010 Organizers at iwoca2010@kcl.ac.uk to check availability. If your request is confirmed (by email), then pay for the booked room together with your registration fee. The booking has to be arranged this way, through the IWOCA 2010 Organizers, not directly with King's College London.

The rooms reserved for IWOCA in King's College students' residences have now all been booked.

Check in is from 14:00 on the day of arrival, check out before 10:00 on the day of departure. The receiption desk is open 24 hours a day.

Hotels

London offers a large number of hotels spanning a wide range of standards and rates. Among the hotels within a walking distance to the Strand Campus of King's College London are Imperial, Bedford, and President hotels in the Imperial London Hotels group.

Remember that London covers a large area, so always check how you can get from the hotel to the conference venue (the Strand Campus of King's College London). If a hotel is not within a walking distance, then the fastest way would most likely be by London underground (tube).
